A stunning vintage opal and sapphire three stone ring crafted in 9 carat yellow gold, circa 1990s. The centrepiece of this ornate ring is a captivating opal gemstone, alive with a play of colour that dances with flecks of green, blue, and pink. Adding a striking contrast, the opal is flanked by two deep inky blue sapphires, their richness beautifully enhancing the opal’s luminous tones. The front of the ring is crafted in an openwork design, featuring delicate scroll and heart motifs that add a romantic and decorative detail. The yellow gold setting provides a warm backdrop, complementing both the fiery opal and sapphires.In very good vintage condition with minimal light wear, the hallmark has worn away with time, but the ring has been tested and confirmed as 9ct gold. Care Instructions
Chemicals and chlorine can damage jewellery. It is recommended that you remove it when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming and whilst doing housework.
Settings and stones can be damaged by accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface. It is best to remove rings when carrying out any manual work or gardening.
To clean your jewellery use tepid water and a few drops of mild soap, a soft jewellery brush or cloth.
Extra care should be taken with opal, turquoise and pearl as these are porous so soaking should be avoided. To clean wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid extreme changes in temperature.
When you are not wearing your jewellery it is best stored away in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
