A beautiful vintage moss agate pendant necklace crafted in 9 carat yellow gold dating back to 1979. The focal point of this lovely piece is the stunning oval cut moss agate gemstone featuring mesmerising deep green and red/orange inclusions that resemble miniature landscapes within the stone. The moss agate is secured in a bezel setting adorned with intricate rope twist detailing that adds a touch of texture and sophistication to piece. The pendant hangs on a delicate 18 inch 9ct yellow chain which does not appear to be original to it. The chain delicately showcases the pendant allowing it to take centre stage. In very good vintage condition with minimal light wear. This beautiful pendant is timeless and unique combining earthy charm with refined elegance. Care Instructions
Chemicals and chlorine can damage jewellery. It is recommended that you remove it when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming and whilst doing housework.
Settings and stones can be damaged by accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface. It is best to remove rings when carrying out any manual work or gardening.
To clean your jewellery use tepid water and a few drops of mild soap, a soft jewellery brush or cloth.
Extra care should be taken with opal, turquoise and pearl as these are porous so soaking should be avoided. To clean wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid extreme changes in temperature.
When you are not wearing your jewellery it is best stored away in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
