Vintage Dainty Sapphire and Diamond Wishbone Ring 9 Carat Yellow Gold 1986

A beautiful dainty vintage sapphire and diamond wishbone ring crafted in 9 carat yellow gold dating back to 1986. This lovely v shaped/chevron ring is set with a sparkling diamond to the centre, flanked by two inky blue sapphire gemstones set in white gold, creating a delightful contrast of textures and colours. The ring curves elegantly around the finger with its style making it perfect for stacking as well as wearing as a stand alone piece. In very good vintage condition with minimal light wear and 9ct gold hallmark to inner shank. Wishbone rings first became popular in the early 1900s and were given as gifts representing love and luck.
