A gorgeous vintage blue zircon solitaire ring crafted in solid 9 carat yellow and white gold hallmarked in Birmingham in 1964. At the heart of this stunning ring is a breathtaking blue zircon gemstone with a vibrant and captivating hue. Blue zircon is a firey stone which sparkles wonderfully as the light catches each facet. The gemstone is securely held in a cathedral setting with six claws, elevating it to allow light to flood in, further enhancing its brilliance. The white gold setting and textured shoulders add a subtle contrast and extra visual appeal and lead to a solid gold polished shank. In very good vintage condition, there are some light abrasions to the facet edges of the zircon (this is common in vintage blue zircon) but these are only really noticeable under close inspection. Being the birthstone for the month of December, this ring would make a wonderful gift for somebody special. A beautiful timeless piece embodying the glamour and elegance of the 1960s.

Chemicals and chlorine can damage jewellery. It is recommended that you remove it when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming and whilst doing housework.
Settings and stones can be damaged by accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface. It is best to remove rings when carrying out any manual work or gardening.
To clean your jewellery use tepid water and a few drops of mild soap, a soft jewellery brush or cloth.
Extra care should be taken with opal, turquoise and pearl as these are porous so soaking should be avoided. To clean wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid extreme changes in temperature.
When you are not wearing your jewellery it is best stored away in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
