This vintage blue Wedgwood Jasperwear cameo statement ring, crafted in 9 carat yellow gold, is a captivating piece that carries with it both elegance and history. The face of the ring showcases a striking blue oval cameo featuring a delicate depiction of Venus and Cupid. The stonewear centrepiece is bezel set and framed with intricate openwork scalloped edging which enhances its timeless beauty. The reverse of the cameo is stamped with "Wedgwood Made in England" marking its authenticity and reflecting the prestigious craftsmanship of its brand. The gold band tapers gently towards the setting creating a sleek and comfortable fit. Though the hallmark has worn over time, the ring has been tested to confirm its 9ct gold composition. Chemicals and chlorine can damage jewellery. It is recommended that you remove it when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming and whilst doing housework.
Settings and stones can be damaged by accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface. It is best to remove rings when carrying out any manual work or gardening.
To clean your jewellery use tepid water and a few drops of mild soap, a soft jewellery brush or cloth.
Extra care should be taken with opal, turquoise and pearl as these are porous so soaking should be avoided. To clean wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid extreme changes in temperature.
When you are not wearing your jewellery it is best stored away in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
