This beautiful antique Victorian ruby and diamond gypsy ring is created in solid 18 carat yellow gold. Dating back to 1898, it is a stunning example of fine 19th century craftsmanship. At its centre is a small glittering old cut diamond set in a diamond shaped mount. Flanking the diamond are two vibrant raspberry red rubies, each nestled in elegant triangular shaped mounts, creating a harmonious three stone design. The ring's ornate textured detailing adds an extra layer of charm and uniqueness, showcasing the artistry of Victotrian jewellery design. Further enhancing its appeal is the rare Chester Assay Office hallmark, a sought after feature since this UK Assay Office closed down in the 1960s, making such pieces increasingly collectible.
