A beautiful antique jewellery presentation trinket box with a brown leather clad textured exterior circa early 1900s. It was retailed by Collingwood & Sons Ltd, Jewellers and Watchmakers with several retail outlets in the North East area of England. The box features a push button opening mechanism which snaps closed to keep the box secure with both catch and hinge in good working order. Inside there is a plush dark blue velvet lined base with the lid being lined with cream silk featuring black typography which reads: "Collingwood & Sons Ltd, Middlesborough, Stockton, West Hartlepool, Darlington, Etc". In very good condition with minimal light wear as per the photographs. A beautiful and unique box great for storing a pocket watch or your treasured jewels. It would also make a lovely shop display or photographic prop.

Care Instructions
Chemicals and chlorine can damage jewellery. It is recommended that you remove it when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming and whilst doing housework.
Settings and stones can be damaged by accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface. It is best to remove rings when carrying out any manual work or gardening.
To clean your jewellery use tepid water and a few drops of mild soap, a soft jewellery brush or cloth.
Extra care should be taken with opal, turquoise and pearl as these are porous so soaking should be avoided. To clean wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid extreme changes in temperature.
When you are not wearing your jewellery it is best stored away in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
