A striking antique bloodstone intaglio signet ring crafted in 9 carat yellow gold circa Victorian era. At its heart is a deep green bloodstone, flecked with characteristic red inclusions, and finely carved with a mythical fish motif. The intaglio is securely set in a smooth bezel mount, drawing attention to the intricate detail of the carving. Ornate, knot-like shoulders add a symbolic and decorative touch, flowing into a reeded shank that completes the ring with texture and character. In very good antique condition with evidence to inner shank of past resize. This has been well done and is not noticeable on the outer shank. Unmarked but tests as 9ct gold. Small in size, this unique piece would make a superb pinky ring. A wonderful example of Victorian craftsmanship, full of personality and charm.

Care Instructions
Chemicals and chlorine can damage jewellery. It is recommended that you remove it when using body care products, spraying perfume or hairspray, bathing, swimming and whilst doing housework.
Settings and stones can be damaged by accidentally striking the hand against a hard surface. It is best to remove rings when carrying out any manual work or gardening.
To clean your jewellery use tepid water and a few drops of mild soap, a soft jewellery brush or cloth.
Extra care should be taken with opal, turquoise and pearl as these are porous so soaking should be avoided. To clean wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid extreme changes in temperature.
When you are not wearing your jewellery it is best stored away in a suitable jewellery box for safekeeping.
